Thanks for choosing Travelling Carnivores. These Terms & Conditions explain how we work together when you book us for your event. By requesting a quote or confirming a booking, you agree to the terms below.

If anything's unclear, just ask — we're always happy to talk it through.

1. Quotes and bookings

Quotes are based on the details you provide, including your event date, location, guest numbers, and menu choices. A quote is an estimate only and isn't confirmed until we've agreed on the details and sent you written confirmation. Your booking is locked in once we confirm it. We recommend booking early, as dates fill quickly.

2. Pricing and payment

All prices are quoted for your specific event. Payment terms, including any deposit required to secure your date, will be set out in your quote or confirmation. Final numbers and payment are due by the date we agree on, and we may be unable to hold your booking if payment isn't received on time.

3. Guest numbers and menu changes

Please confirm your final guest numbers and menu by the date we agree on. We'll do our best to accommodate late changes, but we can't always guarantee them, and additional charges may apply.

4. Dietary requirements and allergies

Let us know about any dietary needs or allergies when you book, and we'll do our best to cater to them. Please note that our food is prepared using shared equipment where allergens such as gluten, dairy, and nuts may be present, so we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests with serious allergies should take this into account.

5. On the day

To serve you well, we'll need:

- Safe, reasonable access to your event location for our trailer and team

- A suitable, level space to set up and cook

- Confirmed timing and setup details in advance

As we cook over live charcoal, a safe outdoor or well-ventilated area is required. Delays or issues caused by access, site conditions, or last-minute changes outside our control may affect our service, and additional charges may apply.

6. Cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or change your event, please tell us as soon as possible. Any terms relating to cancellation will be set out in your quote or confirmation. Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control — such as extreme weather, equipment failure, illness, or other emergencies — may force us to change or cancel. If this happens, we'll do our best to offer an alternative arrangement.

7. Our food and service

We pride ourselves on fresh charcoal BBQ cooked and carved on site. Food is intended to be enjoyed at your event on the day it's served. Once we've handed food over, it's the responsibility of you and your guests to handle and store it safely.

8. Liability

We take care to deliver safe, quality catering. To the extent permitted by law, Travelling Carnivores is not liable for any indirect or unforeseen loss, or for issues caused by inaccurate information provided to us, guest behaviour, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Damage and conduct

You're responsible for providing a safe environment for our team at your event. Any damage to our equipment, trailer, or property caused by guests may be charged to the person who made the booking.

10. Photos and promotion

We may take photos of our food and setup at events for our website and social media. If you'd prefer we didn't, just let us know in advance and we'll respect that.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website, with the "Last updated" date shown above.
